We are expanding our private dog training offerings. The Capable Canine has 3 trainers that are all CPDT-KAs (Certified Professional Dog Trainers – Knowledge Assessed). We pride ourselves in offering high quality humane reward-based/clicker training. The Capable Canine is one of the only training facilities in York County that are members of The Pet Professional Guild which is The Association of Force Free Trainers (www.petprofessionalguild.com)
We offer a variety of different services to suit your needs including traveling to your location, sessions at The Capable Canine or a trainer working 1 on 1 with your dog.
90 minute Initial Behavior Consultation at The Capable Canine – $150
90 minute Initial Behavior Consultation Off Site – $200
1 hour Private Sessions at The Capable Canine – $110 per hour with Jessica
1 hour Private Sessions Off Site – $150
1 hour Private Sessions at The Capable Canine $100 – per hour with Lauren
30 minute Private Sessions Off Site – $75
Trainer Sessions – $55 per hour – This is a new service we are offering. Your dog will get to spend some fun time working directly with a trainer. This will be tailored to suit you and your dogs needs and can be booked in increments of 1 to 4 hours.
Cancellation Policy – We understand that things come up and if you need to cancel a session please provide us with 24 hours notice. If we don’t receive 24 hours notice a $75 late fee may be incurred.

Jessica CPDT-KA only offers in home appointments within a 15 mile radius from The Capable Canine. If you are interested in a at home appointment but live outside of our radius please inquire as we still may be able to assist you.
Unfortunately, we are not able to take all clients and cases such as extreme aggression, separation anxiety, etc. may be directed to a veterinary behaviorist.
