Hello and welcome to our site. We offer private and group training to help you and your canine communicate better! Many times there is simply a break down in communication between the two species and neither one knows what the other one wants.
At the Capable Canine we firmly believe that the relationship between you and your dog is the most crucial element to developing trust and a life long bond. If you do not have a relationship or you do things to damage the relationship between you and your dog, your dog will have a harder time trusting you. This is why we use clicker training/reward based training, which has proven to be the most effective form of training. The focus is not to wait until your dog does something wrong then punish her, instead we wait for her to do something right and reward her. We also work on teaching your dog something else to do that is a more appropriate behavior. To top it all off, using these types of techniques is fun for everyone!
